You can reach Mykonos from Rafina port. You can use either the high speed katamaran (90 minutes journey) or the ferry that goes to Andros and Tinos which is slower. Alternativelly you can use Athens international airport and go to Mykonos by plane. There are also charter package holidays that fly to Mykonos directly. There is also the chance to connect to Mykonos through Pireaus port, ferries depast at 7.30 in the morning everyday at summer and travel time is roughly 5 hours. A taxi from th airport of Mykonos to the town center costs 5 euro. It is worthy it to rent a car which is a cheap and efficient way to travel around. As far as concerns the bus service Ktel, there are 3 bus stations in Mykonos town. The main station Fabrika allows you to reach Platis Gyalos, Psarrou, Ornos, Agios Ioannis, Paradise and Paranga in 15 minutes intervals. The station near the old port can be used for reaching Ano Mera, Kalafatis, Elia. The itineraries of this station run in 30 minute intervals. Bus tickets cost less that 2 euros.
